A shy calico nicknamed Panda Cow. Michelle and David Fox took her in, and she has been getting braver and more playful ever since.
Michelle and David Fox took Roxy in when she needed a quiet place to land. For the first while she stuck to safe corners, watched everything, and worked out that hands could be gentle.
Once Roxy decided the couch was hers too, she started settling into the house. She still kept her distance, but the confidence showed in how she stretched out and held a pose.
The shy girl started making rounds, going a few steps farther each time. She'd scan the room, then check the toys, the windows, the chairs, and any surface soft enough to pass inspection.
As she trusted the place more, the personality came out. She picked favorite windows, claimed the best seats, and turned watching the yard into a daily habit.
Roxy is still shy, but she doesn't hide the way she used to. The playful side comes out in short bursts: a swat at a toy, a flop on the blanket, an easier mood around Michelle and David.
At about a year old, Roxy is more herself every week. Still shy and watchful, still sweet, and a lot more playful than the cat who first showed up. She keeps getting braver in the home Michelle and David made for her.
