Tiny beginnings
Sadie's first weeks were mostly blankets and naps. A little cocker spaniel from Pennsylvania, learning what home felt like, already happiest pressed up against someone.

Cocker spaniel with one blue eye and one brown eye. Barks when she first meets you, then turns into a full-time cuddler once she trusts you.
Sadie's first weeks were mostly blankets and naps. A little cocker spaniel from Pennsylvania, learning what home felt like, already happiest pressed up against someone.
By the end of March, Saders wanted to investigate everything. The toy pile kept growing and her ears never sat still. She figured the world out from as close to her people as she could get.
April meant car rides and first outings, and her personality started to show. She'd bark at anything new, then look for the nearest lap. The barking was mostly nerves; what she wanted was a spot close by.
May is Sadie growing up in fast-forward. More confident on her walks, more attached at home, more herself in every photo. You can already spot the Cicada and the Yidders in that one little face.
Porches, sidewalks, and the first trips to the shore. Sadie turned into a small adventurer that spring, gentle and a little goofy, and never happier than when she was right next to Larraye.
Fields at golden hour, kayak rides, beach air, and the red ball she would not put down. This stretch is Sadie at her best. One blue eye, one brown eye, and a face you don't forget.
Through fall and winter she kept the same pattern: watchful for a minute, then glued to your side. On the couch or trailing someone room to room, Sadie was turning into everyone's shadow.
This chapter is all warmth. Flower beds, long naps, the couch, and a few other pets to share it with. The longer she settled in, the more openly attached she got.
December was winter beach days and quiet mornings at the window. Sadie looked just as content under the holiday lights as she did watching the street go by.
Sunny naps, goofy faces, and that red ball again. This is the Sadie who barks when she first meets you, then once she knows you, curls up against your leg for hours.
In June 2025, Sadie moved to Delaware with Larraye and Larraye's boyfriend, Eric. New house, new routines, same people she loves. She settled in fast and only got more bonded.
Bows, beach light, and long sleepy afternoons. By her first Delaware summer Sadie looked completely at home, from a Fourth of July outfit to sunset walks on the sand to a morning kiss for whoever slept in.
A few extra keepsakes to close things out. Some are real, some are silly edits. Sadie as a queen, Sadie as a Jedi, Sadie at the vet for her first checkup, and Sadie just being Sadie.
